Application Form German Preparation Course

Dear parents!

The German Preparation Course provides basic German lessons to non-German-speaking students who want to join CDSC in August each year.

Students who complete the course will be allowed to join the regular class in the 5th grade at CDSC.

Requirements

1. The course is aimed at self-motivated children who enjoy learning a new language.
2. Children must be between the ages of 10–12 in January. Admission is only possible in the 5th grade.
3. Students must be fluent in English (B1 level).
4. Students must have excellent grades in mathematics.
5. At least one parent should be fluent in English.

Admissions Process

1. Fill out this application form.
2. We would like to invite you and your child to the open house in October to learn more details and ask questions about the program. Furthermore, we will give you a short tour of the school so that you can get to know our school grounds.
3. If your child meets the admission requirements for the preparation course, you will receive an invitation to the assessment day in November. On this day, there will be a written test in math as well as a written and oral test in English. At the same time, our principal will interview the interested parents in English; at least one parent should be fluent in English.
4. The assessment test result will be informed individually and those who passed the test will be asked to submit the report cards for the last 2 school years from the current school (English translation required) and also all required documents for visa and admission
